Part 0: Repetition

If you want to revise some of your intermediate microeconomic stuff (and this is what you will want to do), it might be a good idea to have a look (or more) into one (or more) of the following books:

Hal R. Varian "Intermediate Microeconomics", 6th edition, New York, London (Norton) 2003
Brian R. Binger / Elizabeth Hoffman "Microeconomics with Calculus", 2nd edition Reading/Mass. et. al. (Addison Wesley) 1998

Part 1: Game Theory

There are various good books on game theory, so just choose one or two:

Drew Fudenberg/ Jean Tirole "Game Theory", Harvard/Mass. (MIT Press) 1991
This is really the book on game theory. Everybody cites it, some read it, few understand it.
Ken Binmore "Fun and Games"
Just what the title says: Fun (and some games, too).
Eric Rasmusen "Games and Information"
covers some information economics, too. Sometimes a little brief, but nevertheless a good choice as a "second" book in game theory.

A lot of game theory is also covered by the books by Kreps and by Mas-Colell et.al. given under Part 2

Part 2: Information Economics

Andreu Mas-Colell / Michel D. Whinston / Jerry R. Green "Microeconomic Theory", Oxford/UK et.al. (Oxford University Press) 1995

David M. Kreps "A Course in Microeconomic Theory", Princeton/New Jersey (Princeton University Press) 1990
Hal R. Varian "Microeconomic Analysis", 3rd edition, New York, London (Norton) 1992
