International Finance and Open Economy Macroeconomics

The lecture (4 hrs. held in English) provides a comprehensive treatment of theories and policy analyses in international finance and open economy macroeconomics, both in the short and in the long run. It also applies these analyses to past and present issues of international finance, ranging from the experience with fixed, pegged and floating exchange rates in different parts of the world to current topics of globalisation and international financial crises.
